Robert Powell, co-author with Dr. Michael Swords of the 2010 book, UFOs and Government: A Historical Inquiry, and has a BS in Chemistry. He is also one of two authors of the detailed radar/witness report on the Stephenville Lights. Powell worked in engineering management in the semiconductor industry for 28 years. Powell assisted Advanced Micro Devices develop its first flash memory technology that is used in many of today’s electronic devices including flash cards for cameras, PCs, and video cameras. He managed a state-of-the-art chemistry laboratory and a Research and Development group that worked on nanotechnology and is a co-holder of four patents related to nanotechnology. Powell has been the Director of Research at MUFON  and assisted in establishing and developing MUFON's Science Review Board. He has completed over 120 investigations and is a MUFON STAR Team member.
