Jim Marrs is Gravely Ill

There was sad news yesterday. In my conversation with Stephen Bassett, he mentioned that Jim Marrs was gravely ill. He is dealing with dialysis at home, which is not a pleasant experience and is suggestive of a very bad situation. We should all hope for the best outcome for him.

  1. Hi Kevin,

I don't know what other individuals that may comment here think of Mr. Marrs, but I have admired his tenacity for quite some time. To me, he is the equivalent of the male version of Dorothy Kilgallen.

I certainly hope he makes it ok. Thank you for the update.

  3. I'm not supportive of his theories, but wish him well. Dialysis means kidney failure which translates to the need for kidney transplant, which means he's quite ill.

  8. Jim Marrs wasn't afraid to look behind the curtain. Whether you agree or disagree with his position on UFO's, the Kennedy assasination, 9/11, etc, you could be absolutely certain that his opinions were backed by facts and evidence he uncovered through a relentless pursuit of the truth. Jim wasn't afraid to challenge the official version and he never backed down or backed out. Though I never had the chance to meet him, he struck me as the epitome of a true southern gentleman. He will be deeply missed.

  9. I've enjoyed Jim's books and interviews over the years.
I believe it was in the early 90's that I first heard an interview with him on Art Bell's C2C, as truck driver you listened to many talk shows, he was a pretty genuine guy in my opinion, It sure will be a drag not hearing his voice. I wish his family well RIP, Jim

  11. This is the first i have heard of Jim's passing. I am deeply saddened. I have been following his writings and videos for 35 plus years. He was a very intelligent man with a passion for the truth.
My prayers and best thoughts for Jim's family. We all lost a national treasure and a force of nature.
Now Jim can see behind the curtain and see the truth that he fought so doggedly all these many years to bring to light.
RIP Mr Jim Mars. All best regards to his family.
