Triangular Craft on Aircraft Carrier Deck and a Video from Scotland

 

As you all know, I have been reporting on triangular-shaped UFOs over the last several weeks. I have speculated that some of these sightings might be of military or experimental aircraft. I found a photograph of just such a triangular-shaped object on the deck of an aircraft carrier. Studying the photograph, it looked somewhat photoshopped to me because it didn’t seem the shadows quite matched. Digging a little deeper, it seems that this is a faked photo. We need to circulate this widely to make sure that all know the photograph is faked.

The photograph is a fake.

But are some very interesting sightings out there. The witnesses, in Clatteringshaws, Galloway, Scotland, said that he and a friend were camping in July of last year. They spent time star gazing because they were away from city lights and were treated to a massive display of meteors.

They watched a meteor flash across the sky, leaving a wake of soft blue/white light and as it dissipated the witness spotted what he thought was another meteor. It was traveling in the opposite direction and was, according to the witness, “real confusing” about the way it broke up. The UFO broke into three parts, but rather than trailing behind, they seemed to spin off in different directions.

The witness asked for his friend’s cell phone and began recording. The points of light are relatively small and the one toward the bottom seems to have a flashing light on it, not unlike the strobe on an aircraft. For those interested, here is the link:

The witness described the motion of the objects, and the fact that he recorded for more than 30 seconds, as the three UFOs maneuvered, that seems to rule out a meteor.

In the witness’s words, “The two orbs would move further apart and a third much smaller orb would travel between the two points. At one point we both turned to each other to check we were seeing the same thing as multi-colored rings appeared around the now singular orb, like the rings of Saturn, but in a revolving color spectrum.”

I will note one other thing here. The witness mentions that both of them were drunk during the sighting. And, they were in the same spot the next night, but there was no additional display. Without the video, which, frankly, doesn’t show much, it would be easy to dismiss the report.

William Puckett, in his analysis, wrote, “Originally, I thought that the object could be space debris or another meteor. The video doesn’t support that as the object moves very little. In absence of more information, I will classify sighting as unidentified. The clip in this report is only a small portion of the original clip.”

Finally, a private pilot flying somewhere between Cedar City, Utah, and Las Vegas, Nevada, reported that a bright light approached his plane rapidly, slowed and paced him for five minutes. It was glowing white and it was difficult to see a shape behind that light. The witness said it looked like a tic-tac, which, as I say is what we would have called cigar shape in the past. The UFO veered to the north, and disappeared in seconds.

For years, I have chided the skeptics for accepting solutions for UFO sightings without critical comment. The Air Force explained the Levelland sightings as ball lightning, but I have never heard a skeptic questioning that solution. The theory is that any solution is better than admitting that they have no solution at all. To question a solution doesn’t require them to embrace the alien explanation, merely to acknowledge that those solutions that have been offered are inadequate.

This is a way investigating the Memphis, Tennessee, sighting for which a solution has been offered recently. To recap for those who might have missed it, I mentioned the sighting by an airline pilot of an object he had seen while flying over Memphis. I was mainly intrigued by the photograph, and the fact that the picture had been taken by an airline pilot.

In my search to prepare for my weekly segment on Coast-to-Coast AM, I visit many sites, access various discussion and news groups, look at what has been reported to William Puckett’s Northwest UFOs, Peter Davenport’s Nation UFO Reporting Center, and even various MUFON sites, both national and by state. I pick those sightings that I think are interesting, and as I have mentioned, last more than a minute. The Memphis sighting was reported by the NUFORC fit a number of those criterion. That listing follows:

I’m a commercial airline pilot. While flying at FL 380, at 0055z I observed a round white donut and a lighted moving object within it. The observation lasted five minutes. Sky conditions at cruise altitude were clear with unlimited visibility. No moon illumination was present in the starlit sky. Winds aloft were 310/20 and my ground speed was 445 knots. There was a scattered undercast cloud layer with tops around 10,000 ft. The glowing object within the donut was slowing moving, and I do not attribute its movement to autokinesis. After five minutes of observation the lit object vanished and the white donut dissipated within a minute. One photo was taken.

 

This report provides all the information for a good investigation, with the exception of the direction of flight and the direction to the object from the aircraft cockpit. Either of those numbers would be valuable in understanding the sighting and aiding in solving it. If the orientation of the aircraft, or the direction to the UFO were provided, they might have either confirmed or eliminated the solution offered.

After I posted the information, there was a comment made to this blog about the sighting, which is relevant. According to that post, “That last photo from a pilot over Tennessee was of a SpaceX polar launch.”

Here, then, was a plausible explanation. The problem was, that explanation as offered provided nothing in the way of evidence. It was merely an opinion, which might be relevant… or might not.

So, I looked up the listing of SpaceX launches and found there was one on the evening to January 31. Liftoff, according to the records was at 18:11 hours (6:11 p.m.). Assuming that the pilot’s time of 6:55 p.m. (18:55 hours) is correct, and given he was airborne at the time and that there are clocks on the instrument panel, and his given time is accurate, it seemed to be a long gap.

I found a reference that suggested that the light from the launch would be visible at a radius of 520 miles, which is a long way from Memphis, but that was the number provided by SpaceX. It also mentioned that it would be visible for two minutes and 4 seconds (2:04) but the pilot said the light was in sight for five minutes. Again, this is probably an accurate time, given he was at the controls of his aircraft.

The distance from the launch site to Memphis was something over 700 miles (719. 4 miles to be precise) which also seems to put it out of range for the pilot. Of course, we see that he was flying at 39,000 feet, which changes that dynamic, not to mention that the SpaceX rocket would be climbing upward as it attempted to enter orbit, so the mileage figures might not be relevant.

I could find nothing that told me anything about the direction of launch, though it was supposed to be in a polar orbit. I did wonder, and in fact, do wonder, if they would be launching rockets over land rather than the Atlantic Ocean, but will note I found a reference to a southernly trajectory. I was unable to confirm exactly what that meant, other than a suggestion that the rocket would have been flying away from the Memphis area. I do not know, at this time, if all the SpaceX rockets are launched with the same trajectory, though I would suspect they are all launched out over the ocean.

The picture taken by the pilot actually provides us with the best clues about the solution. As you can see, it provides a dramatic look at the UFO.

However, I found another picture of a SpaceX launch, which looked a great deal like the picture taken by the pilot.

Although I don’t have any directions to the UFO or the heading of the aircraft for that matter, that might not be relevant. The photos seem to prove the point. While I would like to believe the pilot photographed something that was truly strange, the similarity between the two is difficult to ignore. Given that, I believe we have a solution…

And I will note that this is the way things should work. In the world today, with so many of us connected to one another, something that might have been unidentified because we didn’t have access to all the information, now can be explained. In the future, I’m confident that we’ll be able to repeat this process.

Before I brought on William, I mentioned something that bothers me. I have been

working on a book Understanding Roswell, which is a deeper look into the backgrounds of some of the witnesses. The dilemma is what to say about someone’s background in this world of cancel culture. I’m thinking specifically of Jesse Marcel, Sr., because it seems, based on everything that we have seen, read and heard that Jesse tended to spin a tale or two.

I mentioned specifically, the tale about preforming an appendectomy on a soldier while being given the instructions by a surgeon using the radio. In Linda Corley’s book, For the Sake of My Country, she mentioned Jesse beginning to tell the story and his wife, Viaud, saying something about it, suggesting she didn’t believe it.

There are other areas of embellishment that can’t be proved and, in some cases, have been disproved. I hesitate to mention all this because of the family. Jesse

Jesse Marcel, Jr.

Marcel, Jr., was a man of great integrity. I know of no embellishments he made to his testimony about the UFO recovery.

The other side of this is that Jesse Marcel Sr. telling of his involvement in the retrieval isn’t stand along. There are many others who talked about those events, corroborating what Marcel, Sr. said. If we didn’t have that additional testimony, we could easily reject all that Marcel, Sr. said. There doesn’t seem to be much in the way of embellishment to that tale.

My hesitation is what good does it do to mention all this? It doesn’t alter the case, which, if it was stand alone, it certainly would. Take Marcel out of the picture and we still have every member of Colonel Blanchard’s senior staff that we were able to interview suggested it was something extraterrestrial other than a single officer.

William mentioned that he had the opportunity to interview Jesse, Jr. a number of times found him, as did I, an honest man. Jesse, Jr. was a good man, and if he was still alive, I probably would have kept some of the trouble with Jesse, Sr. to myself. As it is, in the upcoming book, Understanding Roswell, I look at this a little more deeply.

When we finally got around to talking about William’s website and experiences, I asked about the Star Link Satellites because it seemed they were responsible for a number of UFO sightings. Such reports had become so common, that William stopped noting them at his website. There are some pictures of those satellites on his website.

We talked about the number of pictures that have been reported over the last few years. William explained that there was a way to determine if a picture had been manipulated by looking at the meta data available. If there had been an alteration, that could be determined and the photo could be rejected. He also said that he doesn’t post pictures that are obvious fakes.

One of the interesting things he mentioned was that in many cell phone pictures of anomalous green objects might be an artifact from the camera. When the camera was pointed, more or less, in the direction of the sun, the “lens flares” tended to manifest as something green.

I also asked if the upswing in triangular-shaped objects might be the result of some sort of evolution in terrestrial aviation technology. It seemed to me that with so many sightings of them in the world today, it might be a new technology that is Earth-based, rather than something interstellar. He had noticed a similar trend.

He did provide information on a couple of interesting cases that suggested EM Effects as well. It was a wide-ranging conversation. There is a link to EM cases on his website, and, of course, my book, Levelland, is all about EM Effects for those interested in pursuing that line of investigation.

Coast to Coast - Flying Humans and Tall Whites

I thought I would do write something a little different, especially with Halloween coming up. You’ve heard of those strange sightings of humans flying around without benefit of an airplane, with some of the most recent reports coming from the Los Angeles airport. I don’t think the culprit in those cases has been found. It is just one of those bizarre things that are reported periodically.

Looking at the videos, and examining some of the documentation, there is a suggestion that those sightings at LAX might by of a mannikin and a drone. I’m not convinced by that answer, though it seems more likely than some of the others that have been offered. You can watch a video about this here:

In Chicago, there have been a number of sightings of something that seems to be large and seems to be bat shaped but is too large to be a bat. You can learn more about that here:

However, David Jacobs has suggested that there is an alien presence on Earth and that hybrids that have human traits are walking among us. Some of these reports might be the result of that. One of the strangest of these sightings came from Deland, Florida, during July of this year.

The witness, known only as Larry, reported in a series of communications that there were strange, unidentified figures on the roof of the local courthouse. Larry noted that there was nothing for the beings to stand on to look over the wall, the figures were eight or nine feet tall. Larry said that he reported this to the local police because the courthouse had been locked and there was no way for the beings to get onto the roof, though clearly, based on the pictures he took, they were there.

Larry also reported the sighting to his boss. Together, they spotted a figure, and later a second one, on the roof. His boss also called the police. The police investigated, found the doors had been properly locked but there was no one on the roof. It was somewhat mysterious because no one had seen them leave.

In the fourth report from Larry, he said that he had seen a figure floating along the roof. He grabbed his camera and took more photographs of that figure and then of another. He said that one figure approached the edge of the roof and seemed to be wearing a military style hat. Another had a long neck and wore something about his neck.

William Puckett has analyzed the pictures and reported, “I don’t have any reason to believe this is a hoaxed report.” There were other witnesses, there are photographs, and the witnesses did call the police. If it is a hoax, then the witnesses are not the perpetrators of it. This is a very strange circumstance. You can read about this sighting here:

Larry noted, again, that the railing around the roof is five feet high and there is nothing to stand on near it. He concludes that the beings are very tall, and reminded him of what he had read about the “Tall Whites,” as related to UFO sightings.

It seems that the idea of the Tall Whites comes from an encounter, or series of encounters, by Charles Hall, who claims to have been a nuclear physicist and an ex-military weather specialist. While assigned to the Nellis Bomber Range in the 1960s, he claimed to have been in regular contact with the Tall Whites. They were seen to glide as they moved and were as tall as nine feet.

Little or no real verification has been offered for Hall’s wild tales, and are of interest here, only because the similarity to the beings seen on the courthouse roof as described by Larry.

While they were not exactly flying humanoids, this does fit into the pattern of strange beings including the Mothman on which John Keel reported in the 1960s. I confess I don’t know what to make of all these reports but will note that there is photographic evidence for some of them. In the world of the paranormal, sometimes that’s about all we can ask for. 

Coast to Coast - The Missing UAP Report (Short Version)

 

As I’m sure you all remember, the June 25 ridiculous report on the UAPs provided no analysis, no real investigation and we were told that 143 of the 144 reports were unidentified. We don’t know how many sightings were involved; just how many reports had been made which is not exactly the same thing. There could have been multiple reports for each sighting reducing that number but since they didn’t publish any of that data, we just don’t know. We were told that there would be a follow up in 90 days which would have been September 25. That hasn’t happened, as near as I can tell.

What I did find was that Representative Ruben Gallego had introduced and pushed legislation that would require a permanent office working under the Secretary of Defense to, I want to say, “investigate,” but what was really suggested was the “timely and consistent reporting,” of what we now call UAPs, but that are really flying saucers. There seems to be no mechanism for investigation and if not, then what is the point, really. Sure, that could be developed later, the conflict in the government seems to make that somewhat unlikely.

I also noticed that the Secretary of the Air Force, Frank Kendall, said that he didn’t think the UAPs were a serious enough threat to demand his attention… and at the opposite end, Deputy Defense Secretary, Kathleen Hicks, ordered the various military branches and various civilian organizations under the DoD to formalize a mission to provide a plan to gather the data. This seems to underscore the power of the Deep State to divide us. It also suggests the Deep State is still working to keep much of the UFO data hidden away.

Gathering data is an intelligence function but so is investigation and analysis and that seems to be missing in all this discussion. Gathering data and sticking it in a file cabinet, or feeding it into a database doesn’t accomplish much. You can read the more in-depth analysis here:

And to show what I mean; I have a report from Newport Beach, California. The witness said that they, he along with his two children, stepped outside when he noticed a bright, metallic looking object in the sky on September 13 of this year. He said it that it was just one object that seemed to be hovering. There was no sound associated with it.

After watching it for a few seconds, the witness began filming. The UFO appeared to change shape and spin or maybe turn and flash. None of the witnesses were able to identify the object saying that it wasn’t a plane, helicopter, drone or balloon. The object drifted to the east and they lost sight of it. The real point is that we’re right back where we began some seventy years ago. Government taking an interest in flying saucers, or, at least pretending they do. But it seems the fires has already gone out of this latest interest in UFOs.

Coast to Coast: UAPs and a Couple of Current Reports

First, I’d like to provide a little more insight into the government’s and by that, I mean the DNI’s that is the Director of National Intelligence, UAP high school level report. It was a superficial job and I have heard some defending it saying that there were only two people assigned to it on a parttime basis. I believe Congress required the report and I’d think that the DNI would have been able to provide more support for the investigation if he had wanted to do so. True, we haven’t seen the alleged classified version, but there is no real hint that they did anything other than look at the Navy’s and Air Force’s reports of 144 incidents. I’ll say again that I would have thought that a review of what has gone before, if only looking at the Project Blue Book files and the Condon Committee report would have provided some necessary insight. That is almost always the first step at the beginning of an academic research project.

Had this been left to me, I believe a review of the Blue Book index would have provided a few clues. Yes, the index contains only the bare bones of the reports, but then, it does provide information that would narrow the search. You could sort, manually, for physical evidence, radar, photographic or just look for those labeled as unidentified.

There are some very interesting cases listed as unidentified, such as the landing in Socorro witnessed by Lonnie Zamora, that would have provided a case with multiple chains of evidence that included landing impressions and burn marks. There are hints of additional witnesses who called the police before Zamora made his discovery.

But of even more importance, at least to those of us paying attention, is the way the Air Force investigated the sighting, proving that they were not overly interested in gathering evidence as opposed to suppressing it. I made that obvious in Encounter in the Desert, which is an in depth examination of the Socorro landing.

Even ignoring those sources of information because the cases are so old, there are many newer cases that provide some interesting insights.

On May 27, 2021, a man in White Hall, Illinois, said that he had looked out a window late at night and watched several lights move across the sky. He then saw a bright orange object with six or seven lights to the northeast. As he watched, the UFO suddenly shot up into the sky. He thought, originally, that it was cigar-shaped, but it looked more saucer shaped as it climbed out. He heard no sound.

Not really an impressive case with just a single witness. However, the next day he drove out into the field where the UFO had landed. There he found a circle in the wheat looking as if it had been pushed over without breaking the stems rather than crushed. Yes, there are photographs and so that everyone can see what the landing traces looked like. You can find the photographs here:

Please note that this took place on May 27, which means that it happened while the DNI was investigating UFOs. I suppose the answer will be that the DNI was interested in those sightings made by military personnel and had some photographic and sensor evidence of the UFO. And I suppose they will complain that the landing took place a little less than a month before the report was due. Of course, I don’t know how many times I’ve had to revise a book or posting because I suddenly had new information. That kind of goes with the territory. That case was not just a single witness, but there were also those landing traces.

On May 15 of this year, three people watched several bright balls of light heading northeast and then saw a large disk on the horizon. Through binoculars, the witness saw the disk had a row of windows on the side and that it didn’t appear to be rotating. There were multiple witnesses who used an optic device, that is, the binoculars, to study the object. The sighting lasted about four minutes and I mention this only because it happened in Randle, Washington, and they spelled Randle correctly.

Again, neither are spectacular, but they do provide a bit of favor as to what is going on today. Not as important as what the military is sighting, but important information might have been recovered had they bothered to take a look. 

Coast to Coast - EM Effects

As I have mentioned in the past, I’m a fan of multiple chains of evidence and in UFO cases, one of those chains is electromagnetic effects. These are cases in which the UFO interacts with the environment often by stalling a car engine or dimming the headlights among other things.

William Puckett at his ufosnw.com website reported an interesting case. On June 23, 2009, a truck driver who was hauling cars from Denver to various dealers in New Mexico spotted a UFO. He had delivered three cars to a dealer in Vaughn, New Mexico, very early in the morning, and was on his way to Alamogordo, when he stopped at rest area. As he got out of his truck, he felt the hair on the back of his neck stand up. He looked up and saw a very large, black triangle-shaped object overhead. At that time, the truck, which had been idling, stalled, all the lights went out. Then his flashlight failed. He got another flashlight, but it didn’t work and even the light on his watch went out.

The object, coming from the southeast was getting closer, and he went to pull one of the remaining cars off the trailer, something he does in an emergency, so that he can drive it to get help. The car’s lights would not come on. About this time, the object began to retreat into the southeast. As it moved away, all the lights on the various vehicles and his flashlights came back on. Everything was working again and he had no further trouble with the truck.

Later, and here is another interesting aspect, when he arrived at his final destination, he had a chance to look at the mechanical alarm clock he keeps in his cab. It was thirteen minutes faster than the truck’s clocks and when he checked the clocks in the cars, he noticed that they, too, were thirteen minutes behind the alarm clock.

In an interesting twist to cases of EM interaction, Robert Spearing, a dedicated UFO investigator has found an interesting and unreported aspect of the EM Effects. He is looking into cases of car paint changing color after being exposed to a high intensity magnetic field. He asks the question: Car paint has a number of possible oxides that theoretically can be victims of induced magnetic fields. But why are there not hundreds of cases of car paint changing color? 

According to his research, he found only two such cases. The first is from Norway in 1953. The UFO circled car and blocked the road. According to the report, the paint changed from beige to dark green but changed back the next day. Spearing noted that UV light can cause the paint color to change but the effects are irreversible.

Spearing also reported that in 1978 there was a UFO sighting in Massachusetts: According to the witness, the Ford Mustang he was driving had the engine, water pump and the battery fried by the close approach of the UFO. The paint changed from white to grey and the car had to be junked rather than repaired.

The only case I have found in which the car’s paint was mentioned was Case No. 39 (page 380) in the Condon Committee final report. There is also a discussion of problems with the car’s clock as well, which fits in with this report.

In early morning of November 8, 1967, an unidentified business executive, driving in a remote region of the South Pacific area later identified as Lake Elsinore, California, when his engine failed. He said that the lights went out and the radio went dead at the same time. It was at this point that he saw an object that flew over his car and then hovered above the highway in front of him.

He later described the object as about thirty feet in diameter, saucer shaped and red orange with rotating lights around the rim. He couldn’t see a sharp edge to the craft, saying it had a hazy outline. It hovered about 160 over him.

He watched the UFO for about ninety seconds before it disappeared into the fog ahead of it. Once it as gone, he said that his headlights came back on, the radio cleared up and he was able to start his car.

He told his story to both those at the Condon Committee and to NICAP, but under the condition that his name wouldn’t be revealed. The NICAP investigators who inspected the car and found the clock has stopped at 3:46 a.m. The found spots where the paint was easy to rub off and that there was pitting in the glass and the paint. Music tapes that had been in the car had also been affected by the UFO. The back window had a bizarre optical distortion that hadn’t been noticed before.

The investigator for the Condon Committee, Roy Craig, interviewed the man and then they drove to the scene of the sighting. He said that the details of the case as given to him matched what the witness had said earlier, except a few changes. The witness now said the object was 55 feet in diameter and flew over his car at 50 or 75 feet.

Craig saw the same distortions in the rear window and saw the pitting and thin spots in the paint. He didn’t think much of this, suggesting it was what would be expected in a car that was four years old. Craig also said that a car dealer said that it was not unusual to receive a car from the factory where the paint was not even.

As had the NICAP investigators, Craig noticed that the clock had stopped at 3:46 a.m. The witness, however, wasn’t sure that the clock had been running the day before, which was another departure from his original story.

Although Craig thought the changes in the witness’ story were significant, he believed that this was a perfect case to test the magnetic mapping theory. They were able to locate another car that matched that of the witness. He mapped the hood and the trunk of the cars and compared the numbers. He wrote:

Some points of sharp change in the magnetic orientation may have displayed that change because of structure beneath the hood. However, the comparison car did show some readings very similar to those of the witness’ car throughout, including corresponding points of sharp change. Even with this crude check, it appears reasonably certain that his Chrysler had experienced no reorientation of its magnetic signature, as one might expect if the car had been subjected to a strong magnetic field.

In the conclusions wrote that the vagueness of the witness description of the object, and the wide inconsistencies in his estimate of its size and distance and that there were no other witnesses to the “alleged event” and because the car showed no evidence of a magnetic field, he concluded that no further investigation was needed which is probably a fair analysis.

Today I spoke with William Puckett of the www.ufosnw.com website about current UFO sightings. We ranged from electromagnetic effects to occupant reports to cases of entities that might have nothing to do with UFOs. You can listen to the interview here:

One of the sightings that we talked about was from a man in Las Vegas who photographed a green object as well as a being of some kind that was associated with the sighting. Rather than telling you about it, you can see one of the photographs and listen to the report here:

We talked about a sighting near Vaughn, New Mexico, in which a truck driver reported that a triangular-shaped object hovered over his truck, causing the engine to fail. He also mentioned that his flashlight went out and a car that he had unloaded from the trailer couldn’t be started. Once the UFO left the area, he was saw that his flashlight was again on. He then started his truck and continued to El Paso, Texas. Once in El Paso, he discovered that truck clocks were thirteen minutes slow, but another of the clocks, that wasn’t electric, had not stopped. You can read about it here.
