The Curse of Oak Island and an Explanation for Smith's Cove

Here’s something that I found interesting. It is an explanation for the artificial nature of Smith’s Cove and it is something that would have been done hundreds of years before any of the Europeans got near the New World, with the possible exception of the Vikings.

First, let me remind all of you that Joy Steele, in her book The Mystery of Oak Island Solved, provides an interesting theory about the origin of the Money Pit and it has nothing to do with buried treasure. You can read about it here:

and for those of you who don’t really want to read about it, you can listen to my interview with her here:

Now I find an explanation for the beach in Smith’s Cove which again doesn’t mention pirates or treasure but does explain, nicely, I think this part of the mystery. The video is short and you’ll need to listen to a little bit of a recap of the Laginas’ search for treasure, but the end is worth the wait. You can see it here:

I won’t say anything more about this now. I think the video is self-explanatory. It might depress some, but we are, after all, searching for a solution to the mystery, and this might just give us one more piece of the puzzle.
